Yesterday, Medium.com revealed their brand new logo and branding (along with updates to their website) which has caused a bit of a stir online. The new branding has polarised users with some loving the new branding and others preferring the original “M” logo.
In their own words Medium state the old M logo was inflexible as a logo and they wanted something to better reflect what they have grown in to.
If you aren’t aware of Medium by now it is a platform for people to easily share their own articles and writing to a large audience.
They’ve also released their API and made changes to the website such as being able to @mention other users too. Click the image below to learn more about the redesign on their blog:
